Job Summary
Performs restorative, prosthodontic, surgical, endodontic, interceptive orthodontic and periodontal treatment as provided in general dentistry.
Essential Functions
- Educating patients on oral health care.
- Examine teeth and diagnose patients' dental conditions, using X-rays.
- Assessing treatment options and agreeing treatment plans with patients.
- Carrying out agreed clinical treatments, such as restoring teeth affected by decay, crown and bridge work, etc.
- Maintaining patients' dental records.
- Adhere to the Tribe's policies and procedures
- Ensures compliance with Tribal, federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, Tribal policies and TERO ordinance

Qualifications
Education
- Graduate from an accredited dental school.
Experience
- Three years of experience in practicing dentistry
- Knowledge and experience working with Alaska Native/American Indian populations preferred.
License/Certification
- Alaska dental licensure required.
- Valid Alaska Driver License and must remain insurable under Tribal policy.
