Role: Capital Project Manager

This position must maintain on-time project delivery, management, and close-out sustainability. Essential Functions
- Ability to work in a team environment and possess strong organizational skills; can utilize ERP systems, follow up with customers, manage projects from start to finish, perform project invoicing and closeouts, check factory acknowledgments for accuracy; highly skilled in customer relationship management and project execution management.
- Creating long- and short-term project plans, including setting milestone targets, adhering to deadlines, and allocating resources as applicable.
- Delegating tasks on the project to employees best positioned to complete them, train and mentor customer service team
- Identifying and managing potential risks and liabilities of multiple projects; maintaining the status of all open
- Assisting in the definition of project scope and goals with account managers
- Making effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress with the project
- Serving as a point of contact for teams when multiple people are working on the same project to ensure team actions remain in synergy
- Communicating with account managers to keep the project aligned with overall goals
- Adjusting schedules and targets on the project as needed
- Motivating people involved in the project to complete tasks on time
- Update customer information in the project management database (CRM) during and after each call or project change
- Work with the management team to stay updated on product knowledge and be informed of any changes in company policies
- Impact the company's bottom line by problem-solving and providing value-added engineering for cost savings as applicable
- Thrives in a continuous improvement atmosphere by understanding and meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) set forth
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 3-5 years of industry or project management experience
- Proficient with Microsoft Office programs; MS word, Excel, PowerPoint
- 3-5 years of ERP software system experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to always remain professional and courteous with customers
