Responsibilities
- Lead Frontend Development: Architect, design, and implement high-quality, scalable frontend solutions for our ERP system, which is transitioning to an Angular frontend.
- User Interaction: Engage directly with end-users to understand their needs, constraints, and workflows, ensuring that the frontend delivers a user-friendly, efficient experience.
- Collaborate with Leadership: Work directly with the VP of Sales & Marketing to receive guidance on project goals, set priorities, and align frontend development with strategic business objectives.
- Mentorship and Team Leadership: Guide and mentor junior and mid-level frontend developers, fostering growth and maintaining high development standards.
- Set Standards and Best Practices: Establish and enforce frontend development standards, code quality guidelines, and design consistency across the team.
- Hands-On Coding: Develop complex components, optimize performance, and implement challenging UI/UX improvements.
- Continuous Improvement: Proactively suggest architectural and UX enhancements, keeping up-to-date with the latest Angular and frontend trends to ensure a modern and robust system.
- 5 years of frontend development experience, primarily focused on Angular.
- Leadership Experience: Proven experience in a senior or lead role, ideally with responsibilities for mentoring or guiding other developers.
- Strong Proficiency in Angular (Angular 10 preferred) and core web technologies: JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- UI/UX Expertise: Skilled in creating intuitive, user-centered interfaces that align with end-user needs and workflows.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work effectively with backend and database teams, especially in environments using SQL Server.
- Self-Management and Initiative: Able to independently manage tasks, set priorities, and deliver high-quality results in an environment with minimal oversight.
- Familiarity with ASP.NET MVC or similar backend frameworks to facilitate compatibility with our legacy system.
- DevOps Awareness: Understanding of CI/CD pipelines to improve build and deployment processes.
- Version Control and Code Review: Proficiency with Git, including code review and repository management.
