What are the responsibilities and job description for the Accounts Receivable position at Kforce Inc.?
- Performance day to day accounts receivable transactions; Ensure timely and accurate billing, cash receipts, preliminary notice, and performance carious accounting functions as needed
- Accounts Receivable will process accounts receivable transactions
- Create new customer accounts
- Print daily open sales order report and request preliminary information from customer
- Create preliminary notices
- Process lien waiver releases
- Release sales order holds
- Process credit card payments
- As an Accounts Receivable, you will apply customer checks
- Process A/R miscellaneous credits
- Process RMA credits
- Update customer tax exemption certificates
- Assist with collections
- Assist in month-end closing
- Accounts Receivable will prepare information for audits as needed
- Handle specialist projects as needed
- Ability to follow up on pending issues and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of general accounting principles
- Ability to work in a high volume and fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized and detail oriented with the ability to multitask
- Ability to interact with customers and all levels of personnel in a professional manner
- Ability to maintain highest level of professionalism under pressure
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
