Kforce has a client in Tampa, FL that is seeking a Collections Specialist. Responsibilities:
- Collect and follow up on past due balances for outstanding accounts
- The Collections Specialist will resolve account issues in a timely manner by communicating effectively with clients, the Sales team, and the Client Success team
- Maintain records of contacts and attempted contacts with delinquent accounts as well as records of payments collected from customers
- Prepare collections reporting
- The Collections Specialist will carry out additional responsibilities as assigned
- Investigate historical data for aged invoices
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a professional environment
- Experience in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of billing procedures and collection techniques (e.g. skip tracing)
- Comfortable working with targets and under deadlines
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Ability to process information analytically
