Data Applications Specialist

Responsibilities

Kforce has a client in need of a Data Applications Specialist in Commerce, CA. Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support in person, by phone, and electronically; Assist peers with complex issue resolution
• Troubleshoot and resolve advanced system, software, and workflow issues for internal and external users
• Manage support tickets across teams using the internal tracking system
• Deliver professional end-user support, applying logical problem-solving to complex workflows
• Maintain and standardize documentation, forms, system designs, integrations, and procedures
• Perform daily diagnostics and ensure system availability through issue triage and resolution
• Coordinate infrastructure changes with IT, adhering to change management protocols
• Lead assigned projects with guided project management
• Validate new system integrations, builds, workflows, and manage production incidents
• Create and maintain system and workflow documentation
• Drive system and workflow improvements through analysis, design, development, and testing
• Perform additional duties as assigned
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare, Business, or IT-or 2 years of experience with corporate SFTP systems; Experience with other data transfer protocols is a plus
• 2 years of hands-on experience with enterprise SFTP applications
• 2 years of IT application project management experience
• 1 years of administering Windows Server 2016
• Strong skills in configuring and troubleshooting Windows file/folder permissions
• Preferred experience with AWS (EC2, EBS, security groups) and Linux OS
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
