Payroll Systems Analyst

Responsibilities

Kforce's client, a global healthcare services provider in Secaucus, NJ is currently seeking a Payroll Systems Analyst. Responsibilities:

• Serves as the first escalation point for payroll inquiries, leading testing for special payrolls and implementing audits and controls
• The Payroll Systems Analyst supports tax reporting, year-end W-2 processing, and multi-worksite reporting
• Tests and implements updates and upgrades, ensuring system integration and compliance; Assists in change management, documentation, and training
• Develops payroll program specifications and reports; Manages change requests for payroll and time & labor enhancements
• Leads process improvement projects, vendor collaborations, and year-end planning
• Investigates complex payroll and time & labor issues, runs test payrolls, and recommends resolutions
• Maintains and tests time & labor systems, ensuring compliance and supporting integrations
• The Payroll Systems Analyst updates payroll configurations, ensuring accurate setup for deductions, taxes, and earnings
• Creates and updates payroll process documentation, reviews system requirements, and conducts training
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Computer Science or equivalent experience
• CPP certification is a plus
• 6 years of experience in HR, HR technology, payroll, or time & labor
• 6 years of experience with Oracle HCM Cloud
• Oracle Absence or Time & Labor experience a plus
• Advanced Excel proficiency
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
