Kforce has a client that is seeking a Scrum Master in Jupiter, FL. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Agile Leadership: Lead multiple scrum teams in Agile practices, ensuring adherence to Scrum methodologies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Facilitation: Plan and facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives) and ensure effective collaboration and communication among the team
- Coaching and Mentorship: Mentor, coach, and guide team members, product owners, and stakeholders in Agile best practices and principles
- Impediment Management: Identify, manage, and eliminate project impediments to ensure smooth and efficient progress
- Performance Tracking: Utilize Agile metrics and data to track team performance, generate insights, and provide recommendations for improvement
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with product owners, stakeholders, and other business units to ensure alignment, transparency, and efficient delivery of projects
- Process Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the Scrum process and contribute to the organization's Agile maturity
- Risk Management: Identify and manage risks associated with projects, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and maintaining high standards of quality and security
- Documentation: Ensure proper documentation and adherence to the company's project management standards
- Collaboration: Work closely with other Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and leaders across the organization to promote best practices and consistency in Agile delivery
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) required; Additional certifications such as SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent are highly desirable
- Minimum 3 years of experience as a Scrum Master, with at least 1 years in a senior role; Proven track record of managing multiple agile teams and delivering complex IT projects in a regulated environment
- Strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies
- Proficiency in Agile tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, VersionOne)
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and act tactically
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and projects concurrently
- Experience in the nuclear energy sector or other highly regulated environments is a plus
