Systems Engineer

Responsibilities

Kforce has an enterprise client seeking a Systems Engineer V in San Francisco, CA. Responsibilities:

• Integrate and deploy a local data caching solution for extremely large datasets
• Launch and manage S3 buckets (via CDK)
• Develop a pipeline for uploading local data caches to the cloud
• Ensure correct handling of sensitive and non-sensitive data
• Developing additional infrastructure related to the above bullet points
  
  

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical experience
• 8 years of experience
• CDK/Cloud Formation experience
• File Storage and Transfer/S3 experience
• Some level of experience with Manipulating Files in S3 in the cloud programmatically
• Mechatronics/controls experience
• Experience with sensor integration/fusion
• Experience using SDK's and APIs
• Experience with a dynamically typed language (Python) and a staticly typed language (C/C /Java/Kotlin)

• Familiarity with any of the following ecosystems: Optitrack, Manus/StretchSense/Rokoko, AR/VR headsets, Zed cameras
• Firmware knowledge
• RTOS experience
• Experience with ROS/ROS2
• Experience with hardware communication protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, CAN)
• Experience with real-time data streaming
  
  

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
