What are the responsibilities and job description for the UAT Tester position at Kforce Inc.?
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is looking for a UAT Tester to join a growing team responsible for testing a mobile data and services platform. This person will focus more on the "human/user" experience vs the product experience.
Duties Include:
- Daily test execution goals are set and expected to be met or exceeded
- Create test cases and use cases based on requirements written by other teams
- Defect triage is done per project
- 10-12 projects per month
- User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for Mobile
- Testing for current cycle and preparation for next cycle to be done at the same time
- Training will be provided
- Learning the product, environments, business structure, expectations, goals, process, reporting, etc.
- Shadow training with a seasoned member of the team
- Hands on learning and execution during testing cycle
- Manual/UAT testing experience
- Documentation in HP ALM
- Test case creation and execution from requirements
- Verifying requirements - need to know what questions to ask to be able to create test cases
- Experience presenting tests to senior leadership
- Ability to consume a requirement in a user story format and create a test case from that user story (more an agile approach than traditional agile)
