IT Business Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Houston, TX that is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced IT Business Analyst with a strong background in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) and Dynamics AX 2012. This role involves working closely with stakeholders to analyze business processes, gather requirements, and support full-cycle implementations of financial systems.

Key Responsibilities:
* IT Business Analyst will collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into functional requirements
* Conduct fit-gap analyses and business process reviews using tools like Visio
* Lead and support full-cycle implementations of Dynamics AX 2012 and D365 F&O
* Advise on complex business cases and propose solutions using D365, third-party integrations, and customizations
* Create and present functional requirement documents for stakeholder approval
* Develop training materials and deliver end-user training on implemented functionalities
* As an IT Business Analyst, you will support data migration activities using the Data Management Framework
* Assist with solution testing, including functional, system, and user acceptance testing
* Provide input during design phases and support user and administrator onboarding

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
* Minimum 4 years of experience with Dynamics AX 2012
* Minimum 3 years of experience as a Functional Consultant in Microsoft Dynamics
* Experience implementing finance modules in a multi-company environment
* Experience with at least 2 full implementation cycles
* Strong knowledge of Finance modules such as Budgeting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Expense Management, Cash & Bank Management, and Consolidations
* Excellent documentation, communication, and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications:
* Dynamics 365 certifications
* Experience working in Agile environments and leveraging the broader Microsoft stack (e.g., PowerApps, Common Data Services)
* Familiarity with integrations and third-party solutions
* Knowledge of Microsoft technologies including Power BI, Azure Logic Apps, Azure Data Lake, Power Platform, and Microsoft SQL
* Industry experience in insurance or service-related domains is a plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
