RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in need of a Senior Data Governance Consultant in Tampa, FL.
Responsibilities:
* Collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures
* Serve as a data steward for one or more key domains
* Partner with data owners to maintain authoritative data definitions and metadata in data catalogs
* Monitor and track data quality issues, performing root cause analysis and supporting remediation efforts
* Support the rollout and adoption of enterprise data governance tools
* Facilitate data lineage documentation and help ensure transparency of data flows across systems
* Assist in compliance efforts related to internal data standards, regulatory requirements
* Create and maintain data stewardship documentation, including data dictionaries and lineage maps
* Contribute to the maturity of the enterprise data governance framework, working under the guidance of the Data Governance Lead
REQUIREMENTS:
* Ability to collaborate with business and IT stakeholders to define and implement data governance policies, standards, and procedures
* Experience serving as a data steward for key data domains
* Skill in partnering with data owners to maintain authoritative data definitions and metadata in data catalogs
* Proficiency in monitoring and tracking data quality issues, performing root cause analysis, and supporting remediation efforts
* Familiarity with enterprise data governance tools and supporting their rollout and adoption
* Capability to facilitate data lineage documentation and ensure transparency of data flows across systems
* Understanding of compliance efforts related to internal data standards and regulatory requirements
* Competence in creating and maintaining data stewardship documentation, including data dictionaries and lineage maps
* Willingness to contribute to the maturity of the enterprise data governance framework under the guidance of a Data Governance Lead
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
