RESPONSIBILITIES:
A Kforce client is seeking to hire a Systems Administrator in Orlando, Florida (FL). The ideal candidate will have experience effectively managing platforms, processes, and procedures to solve technical business challenges in both systems and networking disciplines.
Responsibilities include:
* Systems Administrator will provide technical support of IT functions, including operating systems, virtualization, storage, networking, database, backup, hardware, and others
* Administer expanding cloud services, such as Azure resources, O365 applications, OneDrive, SharePoint, and Teams
* Apply operating system, application, and firmware patches and upgrades to IT elements
* Leverage and tune monitoring tools to predict, prevent, and react to impacting events or poor performance
* Produce and maintain technical documentation of configurations, processes, and changes
* Proactively identify and resolve technical or procedural issues within the environment
* Utilize ticketing system to track incidents and support of infrastructure and business needs
* As a Systems Administrator, you will serve as technical resource for incident response, information security concerns, and audit support
* Provide escalation path for junior colleagues
* Train and mentor other IT team members on maintenance and usage of new and existing infrastructure and enterprise technologies
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* Microsoft Office 365, Azure, RHCSA, CCNA, Security or similar certification
* Formal information security training or certification
* 4 years of experience supporting critical systems and networking infrastructures
* Experience managing Hyper-V or VMware enterprise virtualization platforms
* Knowledge of Windows server and desktop operating systems
* Knowledge of cloud services on Azure, AWS, or Google
* Understanding of TCP/IP networking and related services (DNS, DHCP, and others)
* Microsoft Exchange Server, Exchange Online, and Office 365
* Active Directory and Group Policy
* Firewall and SD-WAN configuration
* Independent and resourceful thinker with selfless outlook and aptitude for sound decision-making
* Solid troubleshooting, listening, and problem-solving
* Open consideration of emerging technologies
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Attentive customer service and follow-through habits
* Encouraged and expected to share knowledge
* Good organizational skills and ability to self-motivate and multi-task
* Ability to interface well with all levels of the organization
* Ability to create and interpret PowerShell scripts
* Ability to fully manage LAN and edge networking devices
* Ability to diligently follow policies and procedures
Preferred:
* Linux administration experience
* Experience with PCI and HIPAA compliance
* Experience managing high-availability clusters and failover solutions
* ServiceDesk Plus experience
* Vulnerability assessment and penetration testing experience
* Knowledge of macOS operating systems and Active Directory integration
* VoIP or Telephony platform knowledge
* Ability to manage IIS website configuration and security
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
