What You’ll Do:
As a Group Leader, you’ll work directly with a group of elementary-aged students during afterschool hours, helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise a group of children in daily activities including homework help, enrichment, free play, and snack time
Implement engaging curriculum activities and support student interests
Build positive relationships with students, families, and fellow staff
Model appropriate behavior and reinforce program expectations
Ensure safety and wellbeing of all students at all times
Communicate effectively with site coordinators and coworkers
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with children (in schools, camps, childcare, or similar settings)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude, flexibility, and a passion for child development
Must be 18 years or older
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college coursework in education or a related field preferred
Background check and fingerprinting required
