At KidsPeace, the EHR Administrator is responsible to coordinate ongoing configuration, training, and user support for the KidsPeace Electronic Health Record suite of applications. Qualifications (Education, Training and Experiences):
Bachelor's Degree required.
Two years' experience in medical billing, medical records, or EHR user support preferred.
Job Duties / Essential Functions:
1. Maintain and enhance configuration, workflows, and reporting for the KidsPeace EHR Suite applicatoins system.
2. Become proficient in system configuration by being expert in all administrative aspects. Drive the design, testing, and training of the EHR for ongoing operations as well as new initiatives.
3. Develop and maintain system documentation, including data dictionaries and schema, report libraries, style guides, and configuration logs.
4. Provide staff support to the EHR Steering Committee, subcommittees, governance teams and other agency work groups to coordinate ongoing configuration management for medical, nursing, clinical, case management, and other patient-related processes.
5. Coordinate with Patient Accounting, Contracts, Accounting, and other key stakeholders to support ongoing configuration and reporting requirements for financial processes.
6. Identify potential areas for improvement to streamline Associate workflows, improve patient care and outcomes, and implement economic efficiencies.
7. Accurately estimate and adhere to deadlines for assigned tasks to ensure the timely completion of all deliverables and enhancements.
