THE OLIVE BASIN AT KITCHEN KETTLE VILLAGE is seeking a RETAIL SALES AND GUEST SERVICE ASSOCIATE. The Olive Basin is a food lover’s paradise featuring over 40 different kinds of premium olive oils and balsamic vinegars, over 90 different flavors of spices, salts, and sugars, a wide variety of mocktails and mixers, as well as tapenades, kitchen gadgets, serving utensils, bread mixes, pasta, gift items, accessories, and more! A love of distinctive culinary delights and dynamic and sales-driven personality are a must.
An ideal candidate for this position enjoys working with the public, have excellent communication skills, enjoy working in a team, and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
This is a part-time position, approximately 20-28 hours per week. Saturdays are considered a priority workday.
Some of the essential functions of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Ensure that each guest receives outstanding guest service by providing a guest-friendly environment, including greeting and acknowledging every guest, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge, and all other components of guest service.
- Open and close registers as needed.
- Accurately handle all forms of money transactions and wrap/bag guest purchases.
- Price merchandise, stock shelves, counters, display pieces or tables with merchandise to promote sales.
- Monitor and assist with periodic merchandise inventories.
- Assist guests and answer questions concerning location, price, and use of merchandise.
