Team Overview
KKR’s Capital Markets (KCM) team provides best in class support to our clients, portfolio companies, and our firm by tailoring capital markets advice and creating innovative solutions for investments. The KCM team focuses on mutual funds, pension funds, and global hedge funds by assisting with financing and capital structure improvement for our portfolio companies. As an important resource for our Private Equity team, the KCM team also closely collaborates with investors to provide enhanced market intelligence and tailored solutions to address the client’s needs. The KCM team is responsible for advising and executing complex financing transaction, including acquisition financings, private equity syndications, buybacks, restructurings, etc. The team also has capabilities to arrange debt and equity financings and structure investment products including asset-based lending facilities, leveraged loans, public equity, etc.
Position Summary
The Capital Markets Finance team (“KCM Finance”) supports business operations leaders including the CEO and COO of KKR’s Credit & Markets business with various management reporting. We are looking to hire an individual to work with existing team members to help further enhance the partnership between KCM Finance and the Credit & Markets business leaders. This role will report directly into the KCM Finance CFO.
The ideal candidate would have a unique combination of financial / business acumen, process and control mind set and effective change management capabilities. The candidate should also have excellent oral / written communication skills and be a cultural fit with an emphasis on teamwork, diversity, excellence and results.

Responsibilities
- Prepare broker dealer regulatory filings including Focus, SSOI, Form 17-H MAP
- Ensure regulatory capital compliance
- Financial statement preparation for quarter ends and annual audits
- General ledger and journal entry preparation
- Management reporting, forecasting, analysis for revenue and investment income
- Coordination of various ad hoc requests
- Work with CFO on accounting and operational policy
- Manage various liquidity and treasury matters
- 10 years of relevant work experience in financial services institution, capital markets experience preferred
- CPA degree preferred
- FINRA: Series 27 preferred
- Excellent financial and analytical skills
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team and build trust and confidence of a broad base of colleagues
- Grace under pressure, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude
- Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record from an accredited top-tier college or university
- Advanced technical skills in Excel and experience with financial accounting systems
- Ability to multi-task various work mandates on tight deadlines, while maintaining attention to detail
- Outstanding interpersonal skills to develop stakeholder relationships with mutual trust and integrity
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with individuals across all levels in a clear, concise, and professional manner
