Housekeeping

This position is for an early-morning bathhouse and cabin room cleaner. Shifts will vary from between the hours of 7am-3pm and 9am-5pm, as business dictates. Shifts will be Thursday, Friday, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday.
Candidates must be 18 with a valid driver's license.

INTRODUCTION TO ROLE

A housekeeper’s responsibility is to perform various cleaning activities such as stripping linen and terry, sanitizing accommodations, making beds, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and polishing. The team ensures all cabins are cleaned with care.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

• Cleaning guest rooms, cabin, and cottage rentals, as well as communal areas and bathhouses. This includes dusting, polishing, linen changes, bathroom cleaning and sanitation, kitchen fixture and appliance cleaning, trash removal, vacuuming, or floor cleaning.
• Ensuring rooms and rentals exceed standards and are in working order before guest arrival.
• Adhere strictly to rules regarding health and safety and be aware of company-related practices.
• Ensure the property is clean, orderly, well-manicured, and guest ready.
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Provides regular and reliable attendance

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

The Housekeeper will report to the Housekeeping Supervisor and work in a team environment.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Driver's license
• Minimum 18 years of age or older
• A happy attitude and willingness to learn!

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• The employee frequently is required to climb or balance.
• The employee is occasionally required to talk or listen. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to twenty-five pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
