We are hiring for the position of Resort Associate in Lumberton, North Carolina.
What you’ll do:
The Resort Associate provides exceptional customer service to attract and serve our guests and ensure that we meet our financial goals.
Your job will include:
- Provide exceptional customer service to residents and guests to ensure an excellent experience.
- Manage the resources and assets of the property, including buildings and amenities.
- Conduct marketing activities to attract new customers.
- Maximize the profitability of the property.
- Maintain the resort and ensure that it’s clean and attractive.
- Partner with the marketing team to attract new guests.
Your skills and experience include:
- 5 years of property management experience or hospitality management, preferably in an RV or manufacturing home community setting.
- Have a great personality and be a people person.
- Ability to improvise, adapt, and overcome.
- Ability to maintain composure in the event a customer gets upset. (It's likely they've traveled a ways to get to us and we want to welcome them with a calming presence).
- Be well-spoken and able to communicate with people from all walks of life. Treat each customer with the same respect as the next.
- Be trustworthy and have the ability to work with cash, open, close store and office.
- Be self-motivated and recognize when tasks need to be completed such as restocking
- Strong operations skills and a thorough understanding of the complexities of this position.
- Be self-motivated and recognize when tasks need to be completed such as restocking store, cleaning store, refilling ice bags, writing down items guests request in store that we are out of or don't carry.
- Be very observant, have good intuition, common sense, and the ability to realize when something just isn't quite right.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office and other web-based applications.
- Valid driver’s license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Experience in sales and/or marketing preferred.
