Your work will help ensure reliability, compliance, and performance across our automation platforms while collaborating closely with engineers and production teams.

You’ll be part of a hands-on, cross-functional engineering team that supports the full lifecycle of equipment development—from concept to implementation. Our division thrives on collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement, all within a high-tech, mission-driven environment.
What You Will Do
- Collaborate with Controls Engineers to develop, troubleshoot, and refine automated equipment systems
- Assist in specifying, sourcing, and maintaining electrical components and Bills of Materials (BOMs)
- Build and test control panels and support schematic revisions/redlines
- Support equipment installation, operator training, and production ramp-up
- Participate in the development of machine manuals and qualification documentation
- Aid in debugging new equipment and maintaining legacy systems to reduce downtime
- Ensure compliance with applicable codes and standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA79)
- Associate degree (2-year) in a related technical field or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in controls, automation, or related systems
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and mechanical diagrams
- Strong working knowledge of electrical systems, circuits, and electromechanical components
- Experience using Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Project) and statistical software
- Familiarity with MRP systems and BOM management
- Knowledge of NEC electrical code and NFPA79 safety standards
- Experience with pneumatic systems and troubleshooting control logic
- Exposure to machine qualification and documentation practices
- Effective communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences
