Koniag Government Services company is seeking a Technical Writer L1 to support our government customer in Washington, DC. Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Govt. Security Clearance. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The Technical Writer Level I will create and revise technical documentation while ensuring clarity, accuracy, and consistency in all materials. Documentation Development

  • Write technical reports and manuals
  • Create operational procedures
  • Develop maintenance documentation
  • Prepare instruction books
  • Draft proposals and briefs
  • Update existing documentation
  • Maintain technical catalogs

Technical Responsibilities

  • Review technical specifications
  • Interpret engineering drawings
  • Process operational data
  • Organize technical content
  • Select supporting visuals
  • Maintain documentation files
  • Follow style guidelines

Content Management

  • Coordinate document production
  • Maintain revision records
  • Manage file systems
