Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and client-driven Account Executive to join our expanding Large Commercial Lines team in Livingston, NJ. You will be responsible for providing exceptional client service within your book of business, as well as assisting in all aspects of client renewal.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Service and Management
- Assess clients’ service and marketing needs, including gathering and developing underwriting information and submissions (i.e., exposure basis, complete renewal applications, corresponding coverage needs, etc.), comparing and analyzing quotes, and negotiating policy terms and conditions
- Maintain strong client relationships through consistent ongoing support and proactive guidance
- Understand and clearly outline the chosen explanation of policies, the claims process, and general risk management strategies
Commercial Lines Experience
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your portfolio of large commercial clients, providing expert counseling on insurance coverage, risk management, and policy renewals within a 120-day timeframe
- Maintain upkeep on the latest industry trends, regulatory changes, and potential emerging risks
- Initiate policy reviews, risk assessments, and coverage gap analyses to identify constructive opportunities for additional protection
Business Support
- Partner with leadership to design and implement all current and prospective client insurance programs, delivering the utmost commitment to client satisfaction
- Collaboration with internal team to market and customize best insurance solutions suitable for each client’s unique circumstances
- Ensure timely and accurate policy documentation processing, endorsements, certificates, and other pertinent client requests
Qualifications and Experience:
- 3 years of experience within commercial lines insurance within a brokerage setting
- Thorough knowledge of large commercial insurance products, including property, casualty, workers' compensation, general liability, and specialty coverages
- Impeccable ability to manage multiple client accounts with precision and detail
- Dynamic understanding of risk management principles and insurance market terms
- Experience with Applied Epic (preferred)
- Active New Jersey Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
