Investor Relations Coordinator

Korn Ferry is Partnered with investment firm based in Santa Monica. They are well regarded in their industry with deep relationships across investors, dealers, law firms and other key players.

Position Overview

Our client is looking for an intellectually curious, detail oriented and hard-working individual to join the team, directly supporting the Head of Investor Relations and working closely with the firm’s Partners. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, acute time and project management capabilities, and be able to triage and balance a variety of tasks with a high degree of organization.

The role will primarily be focused on providing structural and administrative support to our client’s growing investor relations function with a longer-term opportunity to grow into enhanced client servicing and marketing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the IR team in execution of strategic investor marketing/communication initiatives.
• Provide administrative and logistical support to the IR team, particularly during travel periods.
• Serve as a primary point of contact for all investor inquiries.
• Act as a liaison between investors, fund administrator, and Client teams (investment, finance/accounting, legal & compliance) to provide timely client servicing.
• Schedule internal and external meetings and maintain shared IR team calendar.
• Manage the firm’s CRM and various Excel databases, including maintaining investor records from prospecting through onboarding and periodic reviews.
• Support fundraising efforts through coordination with placement agents and managing the data room.
• Plan investor meetings and larger-scale events, such as the Annual General Meeting.
• Assist in the reporting process, including the preparation of quarterly letters, investor presentations, and other firm/fund collateral.
• Assist in the completion of due diligence questionnaires.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 2 years of experience in a professional business setting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly in PowerPoint and a familiarity with Excel.
• Experience in travel logistics, scheduling, building itineraries.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with acute attention to detail.
• Self-motivated and willing to take ownership of tasks with accountability for their completion.
