ROLE PURPOSE
The Senior Email Marketing Manager will own and evolve the company’s email and SMS communication strategy, with responsibility for driving engagement, conversion, and revenue through personalized, data-driven campaigns. This role plays a critical part in connecting marketing automation efforts with sales outcomes, ensuring that outbound communications are timely, compliant, and performance-oriented.
HOW THIS ROLE ADDS VALUE
- Lead Generation & Conversion - Design, execute, and optimize automated email and SMS campaigns that convert prospects into qualified leads. Leverage behavioral, transactional, and demographic data to trigger personalized messaging. Continuously test subject lines, creative, cadence, and timing to improve open rates, click-through rates, and downstream conversions.
- Customer Nurture & Lifecycle Marketing - Develop lifecycle programs to engage existing customers, including educational content, market updates, and product-related messaging. Ensure communications reinforce trust and credibility, particularly during periods of heightened market activity.
- Marketing & Sales Alignment - Partner closely with sales and operations teams to ensure campaigns integrate seamlessly with CRM systems. Implement lead scoring, engagement signals, and automated follow-ups to help prioritize high-intent prospects and support sales productivity.
- Performance Measurement & Optimization - Own reporting and attribution for email and SMS campaigns, tracking impact on inquiries, consultations, and closed revenue. Translate performance data into actionable insights and ongoing optimization strategies.
- Compliance & Brand Stewardship - Ensure all communications comply with applicable email and SMS regulations (including CAN-SPAM and TCPA). Maintain a professional, educational tone aligned with a brand built on credibility and customer trust.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE
- Hands-on experience with email and SMS platforms such as Klaviyo, Iterable, or Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Demonstrated success with segmentation, A/B testing, and lifecycle automation
- Strong analytical mindset with experience working in CRM-driven environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with sales, compliance, and cross-functional partners
- Experience in regulated or compliance-sensitive industries preferred
