A rapidly growing commercial flooring company is looking for a full-time, experienced Assistant Project Manager to join our Operations team and manage projects. Duties include assisting Project Manager and coordinating with General Contractors and Vendors, overseeing Superintendents and the installation works, scheduling, submittals, procurement of materials, close-outs, punch-lists, shop-drawings, budgets, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Assisting PMs with budgeting, scheduling and implementation
- Submittals of documents and samples
- Material procurement
- Controlling installation works
- Corresponding with clients and suppliers
- Tracking and maintaining input of RFIs into a centralized database
Qualifications:
- Associate Degree or higher in Construction Management or similar
- Project management and Flooring experience are plus
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
- Computer proficiency with MS Office
