Job Title: SAP Technical Analyst
Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite per week)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced SAP Technical Analyst to support and enhance SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments within a complex manufacturing and logistics landscape. This role requires a strong blend of technical SAP expertise, hands-on ABAP debugging, and the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable leading discussions, supporting Agile delivery, and working across multiple SAP modules.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a technical liaison between business users, functional consultants, and development teams.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into functional and technical specifications.
- Perform ABAP debugging to identify root causes and support issue resolution.
- Support and enhance SAP ECC and S/4HANA solutions across manufacturing and logistics processes.
- Collaborate on design, development, testing, and deployment of SAP enhancements and integrations.
- Lead and participate in business and technical discussions, workshops, and solution reviews.
- Support SAP modules including PP, SD, EWM, PPDS, and TM.
- Work within Agile methodologies, participating in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
- Track work items, defects, and enhancements using Azure DevOps.
- Ensure solutions follow SAP best practices, performance standards, and compliance requirements.
- Provide production support and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Skills & Experience
- 8 years of hands-on experience with SAP ECC and S/4HANA.
- Strong expertise in ABAP debugging (ability to troubleshoot and analyze custom and standard SAP code).
- Proven experience creating functional and technical design specifications.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing and logistics business processes.
- Hands-on experience with the following SAP modules:
- Production Planning (PP)
- Sales & Distribution (SD)
- Extended Warehouse Management (EWM)
- Production Planning & Detailed Scheduling (PPDS)
- Transportation Management (TM)
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps for work tracking and collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead business-facing discussions.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience with SAP integrations and interfaces (IDocs, RFCs, APIs).
- Prior experience in large-scale manufacturing or supply chain environments.
- Exposure to SAP S/4HANA migrations or transformation programs.
Work Arrangement
