Responsibilities
- Greet and assist gym members and guests with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Conduct product demonstrations and provide information about gym services and memberships when necessary.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory and assist with product sales effectively.
- Operate POS systems accurately for transactions.
- Engage in upselling techniques to promote additional services or products to members.
- Supervise and participate in daily operations, ensuring cleanliness and organization within the gym facilities.
- Handle phone inquiries with excellent phone etiquette, addressing member questions and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive atmosphere that encourages member engagement.
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
- Janitorial experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills with an ability to connect with diverse individuals.
- Experience in supervising staff or managing a team is a plus.
- A passion for fitness and knowledge of gym equipment is beneficial but not required.
