Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Referral Coordinator to join our team. The Referral Coordinator will be responsible for managing the referral process, ensuring timely and accurate coordination of new patient referrals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, coding, and insurance verification.
Adheres to and supports the mission vision, values, goals, philosophy, objectives, policies, and procedures of the center. Adhere to all training provided, assigned duties, maintain all log in user access to all websites necessary, and assist in smooth functioning of the department.
Ability to perform in situations requiring direction, control, planning, and execution of the daily schedule.
Ability to work with people in a polite and tactful manner.
Exhibit confidentiality and good judgement when aware of such information requiring discretion.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
Visual acuity for chart review and equipment operation.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school graduate
Medical office training and or experience
Good communication skills
Ability to operate computer
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
