Laitram Machinery, Inc. has a position available for an Experienced Press Brake Operator. This individual will be responsible for processing stainless steel sheet metal parts on a CNC controlled hydraulic press brake .

Responsibilities:
- Set up and process sheet metal parts per drawing
- Keep machine/tooling well organized and clean (routine maintenance)
- QC at the source/check your work before moving on to next routine
- Use computer software to perform transactions and capture labor to each job
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years experience in operation of press brake
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Above average math skills
- Able to interpret sheet metal drawings/understand bend sequencing
- Able to work overtime/some travel may be required
- Have a passion for doing a job well
- Self managed, team player
- Willing to cross train in other work centers as needed
- Capability of learning manufacturing software being used on shop floor
- Must be detailed and able to follow instructions
- Must be able to perform the essential job requirements identified in the Functional Job Description for this position, including the ability to lift and move 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications:
- Prior experience on operating CNC controlled press brake
- Prior knowledge/experience operating a Bystronic Press Brake
- FMA orother Press Brake Operation certifications
