Our Agency is searching for a Capital Projects Manager.

Essential Job Duties (not all inclusive):
- Manages assigned activities for on-going capital construction or renovation projects: troubleshoots for problems and makes mid-course correction decisions coordinating with architect, Director of Operations, and owner’s representative as appropriate. Reviews and advises payment on architect’s and contractor’s scheduled payments.
- Determines scope of projects with the Director of Operations; works with architect to write detailed specifications; prepares Request for Proposal (RFP); coordinates the bidding process for assigned projects; and oversees and participates in the assembly and preparation of bid documents.
- Makes recommendations for the development of capital replacement/improvement projects.
- Provides detailed market research of major purchases as needed or requested.
- Writes detailed specifications and prepares invitations to bid on a wide range of commodities and services, negotiates small purchases without bidding procedure.
- Attends approved relevant professional meetings and conferences for the Agency.
- Possesses working knowledge of all systems, electrical, utilities, plumbing, water, gas, intercom, camera, telephone, fire control, and alarm systems.
- Possesses working knowledge of all facilities equipment including heating, plumbing, air ventilation, cooling, lighting, food service equipment and appliances.
- Advocates for the appropriate provision of services and rights of citizens with developmental disabilities.
Requirements:
- High School diploma/B.A. or B.S. preferred
- ODE School Business License preferred
- Minimum 5 years experience in a facility/maintenance/transportation supervisory capacity preferred
