Description
The nurse will be responsible for the overall supervision of the members during their cardiac maintenance exercise session. The nurse will obtain the initial medical history interview of a new member and perform a yearly medical history review of current members updating their medical history, cardiac and medication status. Measurement of vital signs prior to, during and upon completion of the cardiac workout will be taken by the nurse and/or cardiac assistant with the nurse monitoring the measurements. Educational information and guidance pertaining to diet, exercise and medication will be provide as needed. HIPPA guidelines will be followed.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN nursing school
Current or previous critical care/telemetry experience (ICU; CCU; ER; PACU)
CPR certified. Prior ACLS certification recommended but not necessary
Salary : $35 - $50
