What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Paraprofessional (Alexandria) position at Lakes Country Service Cooperative?
We are growing and hiring a Special Education Paraprofessional to begin immediately. The successful candidate will work in our Alexandria Lakes Country Academy (LCA) location with K-6th grade students as part of our Setting IV special education program. LCA provides highly effective social skills training and highly accountable behavioral/academic programs for students with ASD and EBD disabilities in a structured setting. The workday is typically 8:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. and 180 days worked yearly.
Experience working with students with challenging behavior is preferred, but not necessary to apply. Pay rate is $18.75 per hour.
