We are seeking a Customer Account Specialist 1 for our site in Crawfordsville, IN. This role will support small to mid-sized customer accounts by coordinating book production and fulfillment processes. The Customer Account Specialist I works under close guidance to ensure timely, accurate execution of manufacturing and order workflows.
What You'll Do
This position primarily operates in an office environment (on-site or remote) and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and printers. The role requires prolonged periods of sitting, as well as occasional walking, standing, or light lifting (up to 10 pounds). We are seeking a Customer Account Specialist 1 for our site in Crawfordsville, IN. What You'll Do
- Process customer orders and changes in manufacturing/fulfillment systems accurately and on time.
- Monitor production timelines and coordinate updates to customers.
- Assemble billing documentation and maintain accurate job logs.
- Track due dates and schedule adherence for files and customer components.
- Communicate with internal teams and external customers professionally and effectively.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to ensure high-quality outcomes.
- May perform additional duties, as assigned
- Associate degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- 0–2 years of customer service, administrative, or production coordination experience.
- Basic knowledge of business software and communication tools.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to learn and apply procedures in a fast-paced environment.
