Production Expediter
Schedule: 12 hour shifts/ Nights/ 7p-7a
Experience and Skills Needed:
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a safe, clean work area. Must be able to use basic math skills to document or validate component quantity. Ability to read and interpret work instructions, Job tickets, AIT's and other job specifications containing requirements necessary to complete the work and maintain dimensional accuracy to meet LSC Workmanship standards.
Assures the highest level of professionalism and personal performance necessary to meet or exceed performance goals set by the company for safety, customer service excellence, efficency and profitability. Experience working in a team environment as well as the ability to complete tasks in a self-directed manner. Troubleshoots problems to maintain quality standards and to keep equipments in safe/running condition.
Adheres to and promotes all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock-out-tage-out rules as well as hearing and eye protection policies. Must be able and willing to work 4- Star Crew/ 12 hour night shifts with extended hours to cover peer absences and meet schedules set to satisfy our customers' expectations. At times off, cycle shift change will be required in this assignment.
Muste have demonstrated mechanical aptitude. Must be able to perform tasks that require repetitive motion of hands/arms. Requires hand/eye coordination and hand/finger dexterity. Perform additional tasks as assinged by the Management Team.

Production Expediter

- Operate and monitor DataMerge, COMN, MLU and press management systems.
- Check schedules in Visual Lansa.
- Follow up on emails and phone calls.
- Deliver plates as needed.
- Makeover request and deliver.
- Help Platemakers if needed.
- Work with plate benders in the Goss Bend room to navigate what plates are needed when the room is getting full.
- Investigate missing jobs, plate, forms.
