Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting with procedures.
- Take patient X-rays (if certified).
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate insurance billing.
- Ensure the sterilization and cleanliness of the dental operatory.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the dentist.
- Dental Assistant certification (preferred) or willingness to obtain certification.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a dental setting (a plus).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task effectively.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented and committed to providing excellent patient care.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (a plus).
- Positive and enthusiastic attitude.
