Job Description:
- Work is 75% cabling (95% copper; 5% fiber) and 25% network (i.e. layer 1/physical layer)
- 2 Years relevant experience in a Field Technician role with responsibilities such as:
- installing, testing, terminating, & troubleshooting of low voltage cabling CAT 5/6, fiber
- Rack and stack of network devices
- Break Fix, MACs (moves, adds, changes)
- Cable patching
- Must be familiar with 66 Block and 110 Block cross connect procedures
- Installing Cisco Devices (Layer 1/Physical Layer)
- Must have a basic knowledge of Cisco switches and routers
- Preferred Certs - BICSI
