Business Development Senior Associate or Vice President

Company Overview:

A sub $1 billion Private Equity & co-investment fund management company is seeking a Business Development Senior Associate or Vice President. The role focuses on driving U.S. based business development efforts, particularly with independent sponsors and lower middle-market private equity funds.

Job Responsibilities:

• Identify and cultivate relationships with independent sponsors and lower middle-market private equity funds.
• Develop a robust pipeline of investment opportunities through research, networking, and outreach.
• Serve as the primary U.S. based point of contact for potential partners and deals.
• Conduct high-level assessments of private equity deals to identify promising opportunities.
• Collaborate with Asia-based deal teams for detailed analysis of qualified opportunities.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with industry stakeholders.
• Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and meetings.
• Work closely with Asia office, participating in calls during early mornings or evenings (U.S. time).
  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5–10 years of experience in private equity, investment banking, or a related field.
• Proven track record in sourcing private equity deals.
• General understanding of private equity transactions, deal structures, and fund dynamics.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized and self-motivated.
• Bachelor’s degree.
  
  

Compensation:

Salary: $150,000 – $200,000; bonus DOE.
