Position's Purpose and Essential Functions:
Responsible for maintaining, installation, inspection, operation and repairs to building plant equipment. Utilizes technical materials, manuals, blue prints and schematics to complete maintenance and repairs to specification. Utilizes hand and power tools and precision measuring and testing instruments. The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Supervisor; however, he/she may receive work direction from the Director of Facilities.
Applicants Job Requirements Include:
Education:
- Required: High School diploma or equivalent.
- Required: Ability to type and perform computer data entry.
- Required: Must speak, read and write English effectively.
- Preferred: Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Experience:
- Required: Three (3) to five (5) years’ experience in comparable Building and Equipment work is minimum to perform this job.
Licenses/Certificates:
- Required: Valid Driver License.
