Vehicle Licensing Technicians help serve a population of more than 300,000 Larimer County citizens by processing vehicle titles, registrations, and so much more. The typical schedule for this position is 7:45 AM - 5:10 PM, Monday to Friday, with occasional partial Saturdays.

- Directly helps customers in person with a variety of transactions including but not limited to: processing vehicle titles, liens and registrations, and persons with disability placards.
- Receives, sorts, logs, and processes mail-in and drop-off vehicle titles, liens, registrations, and persons with disability placards.
- Assists customers in the waiting areas by answering questions, providing resources, scheduling appointments, and directing the flow of customers into the office.
- Enforces the following:
- Title and registration procedures established by Colorado Statutes and Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Department of Revenue and Larimer County Policies and Procedures.
- Secure and Verifiable Identification procedures established by Colorado Statute and Rules and Regulations of the Colorado Department of Revenue.
- The Driver's Privacy Protection Act of 1994 and Personal Identifiable Information established by Colorado and Federal Statutes.
We are looking for a candidate that will:
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer contact.
- Provide professional customer service to customers.
- Learn specialized vehicle title and registration software and processes.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.
- Appropriately respond to difficult situations.
- Operate and maintain a computerized database.
- Have knowledge of general office practices and procedures.
- One (1) year experience in a clerical or customer service field or in the performance of similar duties and responsibilities required.
- Possess reliable transportation to be able to work in any County facility as needed and required.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- Commission as a Notary Public within six (6) months of hire.
