What are the responsibilities and job description for the IP Litigation Paralegal position at Larson Maddox?
Our client is looking to bring on a Litigation Paralegal with excellent communication skills and strong abilities in gathering, organizing, and managing complex information. As part of the legal department, this person will work closely with team members and collaborate with internal stakeholders to support all aspects of litigation and administrative proceedings.
LOCATION: Open to Seattle, WA & Silicon Valley, CA
Responsibilities Include:
- Support all phases of litigation including preliminary investigation and research, discovery, pretrial and trial.
- Manage, organize, and maintain litigation related files.
- Use legal research platforms and databases to gather case and docket information.
- Collaborate with outside counsel on collection, preparation, and production of documents.
- Assist with calendaring and tracking case deadlines.
- Create and customize spreadsheets for collection and tracking of records and data.
- Coordinate with outside counsel, witnesses, and experts on various matters.
- Manage legal spend and case budgets.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in a field of law or related field (completion of a certificate program in paralegal studies is a plus).
- 3-5 years' experience supporting attorneys, with at least 1-year of in-house experience.
- Experience in patent litigation and other patent related administrative proceedings is a plus.
Salary : $80,000 - $150,000
