What you will be doing:
- Working on multiple software platforms: Microsoft Word, Excel, and cloud/database applications (Google Drive, Dropbox, OneDrive, etc.)
- Creating and manipulating PDFs, PowerPoint presentations, and other info-graphic software.
- Knowledge of conference platforms (GoToMeeting, GoToTraining, zoom meeting etc).
- Provide updated information from investigators to clients, corporate attorney’s and/or legal teams in a professional and timely manner
- Assisting the headquarter staff with deep research, and document support
- Provide exceptional customer service skills, phone and email etiquette using business best-practices
- Assist with legal/investigations research as requested by investigations and legal teams
- Creating and delivering client contracts
- Assist in business development
The skills you need to have:
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Prior experience interacting with legal clients as a paralegal
- Work in a small business environment collating as a team member
- Work collaboratively with other team members on the project
- Must have a strong working knowledge of software and cloud-based programs (Google documents, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
- Must be able to use and learn CRM Database system to maintain customer accounts.
- Must be able to communicate effectively and professionally, both verbally and in writing.
- Well organized with accuracy and attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of experience in communicating with clientele from all adversities and case types such as criminal, civil, corporate.
- Experience in formulating systems and processes in a legal office to increase proficiency.
- Experience in conducting background checks and OSINT searches navigating quickly in the different platforms for data, specifically, Lexis Nexis or TLO, public sector databases such as sex offender, DOC, BMV, and other city county sources.
