Position Overview
The Senior Accountant is responsible for delivering high-quality accounting services and team supervision, contributing to the overall success of LBMC W Squared and its clients. This role requires strong technical skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to manage and guide staff.

Key Responsibilities
In addition to specific day-to-day tasks and projects, the Senior Accountant is expected to fulfill broader responsibilities as a member of the client service team, including:

- Client Partnership: Serve as the primary accounting contact for assigned clients, fostering a collaborative, solution-focused relationship.

Daily and Monthly Duties
- Supervise and review work of Staff Accountant(s), when applicable.
- Maintain daily task lists and lead weekly team status meetings.
- Oversee and manage the monthly close process.
- Prepare both standard and nonstandard journal entries.
- Provide and maintain monthly close checklists for clients.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts.
- Prepare and review detailed monthly financial reporting packages.
- Assist with cash flow forecasting and budgeting/pro forma preparation, as needed.
- Prepare property tax returns, business licenses, and annual reports.
- Assemble audit and tax packages, and manage related follow-up with external auditors or tax preparers.
- Conduct accounting research and provide technical guidance as needed.
- Complete additional tasks as assigned by the Controller or CFO.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- 3–5 years of accounting experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Intacct (preferred)
