Position Overview
The Staff Accountant is responsible for delivering accurate, timely, and professional accounting support while contributing to the success of LBMC W Squared and its clients. This role plays a critical part in executing daily and monthly financial operations and supporting client service excellence.

Senior Accountant / Assistant Controller
Key Responsibilities
Beyond specific daily tasks, the Staff Accountant is expected to uphold the values and responsibilities of the W Squared client service team, including:

Daily and Monthly Duties
- Prepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and/or year-end close processes.
- Prepare standard journal entries.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial statement packages.
- Assist in performing variance analysis.
- Support various monthly close activities.
- Contribute to cash flow forecasting, if applicable.
- Assist with audit and tax documentation requests.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the Senior Accountant or Assistant Controller.

Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (required)
- Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, preferred
- Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with Intacct, preferred
