Our Hospitality & Sales Associate/Wine Concierge will work in LDV’s wine tasting room in Old Town Scottsdale, AZ, and from time to time off-site at festivals or events. Service and wine tasting are presented table-side, offering our Wine Concierge opportunities to interact with customers while curating a memorable wine experience and providing wine education. LDV Wine Concierge promotes the LDV Winery brand by conducting wine tastings, telling the LDV Winery story, creating visitor experiences, and selling LDV high-quality, hand-crafted wines and merchandise.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create an exceptional hospitality and wine tasting experience.
- Ability to sell wine and close sales.
- Professional team player with good communication skills.
- Ensure the tasting room operates effectively.
Type of Work: Part-Time
Pay: Hourly rate and shared tips. Determined upon employment and based on experience.
Minimum Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Hospitality and sales experience, plus a passion for wine.
- Must be flexible/available to work most weekends, nights, special events, and holidays.
- Must have a valid driver’s license or ID card.
- Must be able to lift forty pounds (full case of wine) repeatedly and stand for long periods of time. Must have hand/finger dexterity to open wine bottles and stock wine. While performing the duties of this job, employees are frequently required to reach, bend, squat, climb, push, stoop, and crouch repeatedly.
