JOB SUMMARY The Director, Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for Patient/Family Access (scheduling, referrals, MyChart, multiple appointment call center). The Director of Patient Access is responsible for the overall success of how patients and physicians interact with the organization through the areas of admissions, registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and financial clearance. This will be accomplished by establishing a customer centric culture determined to understand and exceed the expectations of our stakeholders while insuring all the requirements necessary for daily operations are maintained. JOB DETAILS AND REQUIREMENTS Education: - Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, business/management, finance, nursing, or a directly related field is required. Certification & Licensures: - Certified Revenue Cycle Professional (CRCP) preferred Experience: - Minimum of five (5) years of experience directing and managing the business operations of one or more functions in a complex healthcare environment plus three (3) years of leadership experience. - Equivalency: minimum of eleven (11) years of experience directing and managing the business operations of one or more functions in a complex healthcare environment, including leadership experience.
