What are the responsibilities and job description for the Commercial Lines Account Manager position at Leavitt Group?

The Leavitt Group’s affiliate, Leavitt Group of Northern Arizona is looking to add new talent to their Commercial Lines team in either office located in Flagstaff or Cottonwood, AZ. A Commercial Lines Account Manager works closely with producers and commercial lines managers in providing ongoing support to their commercial accounts. The right candidate has roughly 5 years of experience working with middle to larger sized markets and maintain a larger book of business.

* Remote work is available for qualified candidates located outside of Flagstaff or Cottonwood *

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the applications for the submission with underwriting information provided by the Producer
  • Daily ongoing relationship with Commercial Lines Manager regarding specific deadlines and on-going projects/tasks
  • Work with the service staff to meet timeline (deadlines)
  • Work with assigned Account Executive on marketing procedures with discussed selected markets
  • Follow up with Markets for quotations
  • Create the proposal and make any changes under the direction of the Account Executive
  • Check for any discrepancies b/w submission/quotation/proposal
  • Work with Producer to provide binders of insurance/Get client sign off
  • Certificate issuance
  • Invoice
  • Check endorsements against Account Executive requests
  • Issue auto ID Cards

Requirements:

  • Active Property & Casualty license in Arizona
  • 5 years of commercial lines experience
  • Must have strong computer software and in using Microsoft Office i.e. Excel, Word
  • Must have strong oral and written communication skills
  • Must have experience with carrier rating software
  • Experience with the AMS 360 is highly preferred
