Electrical Technician

The Tulsa World Media Company, a digital media solutions provider for broadcast and traditional news media, is seeking an Electrical Technician. This position will work with all electrical systems in our building including production machinery.     Key Responsibilities Trouble-shoot and repair or replace electric motors and electronic circuit boards and wiring and components. Trouble-shoot AC/DC drives. Diagnosing electrical and technical failures during heavy oriented production periods Perform preventative and corrective electrical maintenance on machinery. Be able to perform within guidelines of (NEC) National Electrical Code. Read diagrams, blueprints and schematics Be able to plan out wiring and installation of electrical apparatus in buildings. On-site, regular and reliable attendance is required being on time for work a must Safely drive to various locations Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Know the lock-out tag-out procedures Know arc-flash procedures Ability to follow all Company policies and procedures including but not limited to attendance standards. Be able to work well with employees across various departments. Must be able to lift up to 60lbs occasionally Must be able to work nights and weekends Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent  Have a minimum of two years electrical experience.
