Administrative Lead Role

The Administrative Lead will have both a day-to-day and ongoing impact on keeping us on track, on time, and on good terms with our valued partners. They will provide general office support and a high level of assistance to leadership.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Answer and route incoming company phone calls.
  • Provide general customer service to farmer customers, dealers, and DSMs.
  • Manage order entry and billing in POS System (Seedware).
  • Manage Grower Point of Sale (GPOS) processing including TUA's via Agcelerate.
  • Record inventory in POS System.
  • Assist with inventory tracking, availability, and production process.
  • Provide customer sales reporting as required internally and externally.
  • Coordinate product shipping including scheduling loads, trucking arrangements, processing arrangements, dealer contacts, etc.
  • Contact customers to facilitate payment of outstanding invoices; obtain assistance from collection agencies when necessary.
  • Assist customers with our available financing programs.
  • Assist with all DF Seeds accounts receivable functions, under the direction of the LAP Finance Team.
  • Assist with website updates, customer mailings, and social media efforts.
  • Assist with dealer organization and Seedware training.
  • Organize meetings and event logistics.
  • Communicate professionally with executives, dealers, customers, and vendors.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or three plus years of office experience in a related position.
  • Strong technology background in POS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interact with customers and vendors in a professional manner.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to perform routine tasks with a minimum level of supervision.
  • Strong organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Premium given to candidates with agricultural industry experience.
