What are the responsibilities and job description for the Guest Room Attendant position at Legacy Vacation Club LLC?
Guest Room Attendant – Steamboat Springs, Colorado
At The Fold, we believe in travel that feels like coming home to something wonderful. The kind of stays that linger long after checkout—where joy is intentional, and every detail tells a story. We’re looking for a Guest Room Attendant to bring that spirit to life at our Steamboat Springs location. In this hands-on role, you’ll be essential to the everyday magic—transforming guest spaces into cozy sanctuaries and helping every guest feel truly cared for. If you take pride in your work, love a good sparkle, and believe every detail matters, we’d love to meet you.
Here's What You'll Be Up To
- Turning guest rooms into welcoming, spotless spaces—cleaning, tidying, and refreshing with care.
- Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and scrubbing until every surface shines.
- Changing linens and making beds with care and precision (a crisp corner is always appreciated).
- Restocking essentials like towels, soaps, and kitchen goodies—no detail left behind.
- Taking out trash and keeping every corner—from bathrooms to bedside tables—clean and tidy.
- Making windows, mirrors, and glass surfaces sparkle (and staying mindful not to walk into them).
- Dusting, arranging, and resetting rooms so they feel as inviting as day one.
- Using eco-friendly cleaning products to care for both rooms and the planet.
- Self-checking your work to make sure every room meets The Fold’s high standards.
- Maintaining your housekeeping cart like a mobile boutique of calm and order.
- Greeting guests with a smile when you pass by—you're part of their experience too.
- Supporting deep cleans, seasonal refreshes, and other projects when needed.
- Helping maintain the beauty of shared resort spaces—inside and out.
- Sorting and organizing laundry with care, and delivering guest requests with friendly attention.
- Reporting anything out of place—damages, missing items, or surprises in rooms.
- Carrying linens, supplies, and the occasional lost teddy bear with thoughtful attention.
You're Great Because
- You take pride in your responsibilities and show up ready to make a difference.
- You’re a strong communicator—whether it’s a quick guest hello or a team update.
- You’re adaptable, reliable, and roll with whatever the day brings.
- You’re energized by movement and enjoy active, meaningful work.
- You’re a thoughtful problem-solver who works with intention.
- You genuinely care about people—from your teammates to our guests.
- You bring an inclusive, respectful approach to every interaction.
- You’re organized, focused, and committed to safety and cleanliness.
- You value consistency but know when flexibility matters.
- You manage time well—even with last-minute surprises.
What You Bring to the Table
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Previous housekeeping or hospitality experience (bonus points if you’ve worked in a resort).
- Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and peak travel times.
- Physical readiness for a hands-on role—you’ll be on your feet, lifting, bending, and moving throughout your shift.
Why This Role Matters
You’re not just tidying up—you’re helping create a sense of home, calm, and care for every guest. Your work sets the tone for their entire stay, and we believe that matters deeply. At The Fold, your attention to detail, your pride in your craft, and your kind presence all add up to something beautiful.
