Experience Requirements
- 2 years of industrial experience in Decision Science, Optimization, Data Science, and/or related areas
- 2 years of industrial experience working with Python and SQL
- Hands-on experience with algorithmic optimization libraries (e.g., Pyomo, PuLP, Gurobi, CPLEX, Google OR-Tools)
- Experience quantifying and managing trade-offs between customer growth, revenue, loss rates, and capital utilization in credit or lending contexts.
- Experience working on underwriting, pricing, or credit limit assignment policies using optimization and simulation techniques in fintech, consumer lending, or BNPL domains.
- Familiarity with FCRA-compliant decisioning frameworks and how they interact with data, models, and policy constraints
- Ability to quickly develop a deep statistical understanding of large, complex datasets
- Experience with tax and/or credit bureau data (TransUnion, Experian, Equifax) in credit policy development
- Strong business problem-solving, communication and collaboration skills
- Degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or related field
